Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions when using PingPanda.

Event Not Received in Discord

Check Discord ID

  1. Go to DashboardSettingsAccount Settings
  2. Verify your Discord ID is correct
  3. Make sure you've enabled DMs from server members (if the bot is in a server)

Check Event Status

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the category where you sent the event
  3. Check if the event shows as "DELIVERED" or "FAILED"
  4. Failed events will be automatically retried

Verify API Key

Make sure you're using the correct API key from DashboardSettingsAPI Key.

Rate Limit Errors

If you receive a 429 Too Many Requests error:

  • Free Plan: 60 requests per minute
  • Pro Plan: 200 requests per minute

Wait for the rate limit window to reset (check the Retry-After header) or upgrade to Pro for higher limits.

Category Not Found

Make sure:

  1. The category name matches exactly (case-sensitive)
  2. The category exists in your account
  3. You're using the correct API key for the account that owns the category

Invalid API Key

  • Verify you're using the correct API key
  • Check for extra spaces in the Authorization header
  • Make sure the header format is: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
  • If you regenerated your key, update all integrations

Quota Exceeded

If you've reached your monthly event quota:

  • Free Plan: 100 events per month
  • Pro Plan: 1,000 events per month

You can:

  • Wait for the monthly reset
  • Upgrade to Pro for higher limits
  • Delete old events to free up quota (if applicable)

  2. Review the error logs (if available)
  3. Contact support through your dashboard
